A few weeks ago I put my first video on YouTube, so I'm officially someone to watch for on Instagram and YouTube. So things might pop up there first, and at least with Instagram there maybe be better images and more information. With YouTube, I'll adding lots of video/audio content that only I can share -- as I get time to put the videos together.

• I haven't really done anything with the JEM Premises, Outlines & Scripts page yet, but now that I have another storyboard in my collection I have made the Jem Storyboards a new page -- so now the Unproduced Rock Backstager animation storyboard is on the Jem Storyboards

• I've added 4 more ads to the JEM Promo Ads & Posters page -- you'll want to check that out.

• I've been thinking about rescanning the pictures on the Jem&Me page, for some time -- I removed the higher quality images for space at some point, and had no way of tracking down the original scans. I kept planning on taking them to work and scanning them there for along time, but in never happens. So Sunday I finally just scanned them at home. While scanning I found 3 slides I had never added to the site, so I went to my parents to scan them. But it was their old scanner that could scan slides. So the slides went with me to work on Monday. I couldn't get the scanner to scan them correctly, but managed to get something. So those are now added, and all of the pictures from 1986-1996 have been updated with links to larger images. Not that the images are all that great.
• I also scanned the French 45 record, so it has been added to the Jem Recorded Audio page.
• I also added a couple of Editorial Jem Photographs to the Jem "M" History page

• Pages I have been wanting to add for a long time are for twins Alex Couto and Alyx Couto of the Mongrels and their synthesizer named Entropy. Not to much is known, and Entropy was going to be working into Minx's synthesizer, but it also feels like Alex and Alyx were precursors to Riot and Rapture on multipliable levels.

• Added a new page with the head molds that are part of the Cincinnati Museum Center collection, these were donated to the museum by the collector I bought most of the wax head molds from.

• I updated the JEM vs. Dusty page with the 1976 in box brochure, because it has the unproduced Cliff doll -- who Rio looks very similar too.
• I updated The JEM Doll Posters page with larger scans of posters from different countries, since I now have the web-space to do so.

I have moved servers, so some images and pages may not have transfered over yet -- I'll try to find any missing content, as I have time. I was dealing with getting over charged for using to much space, but now I have TotallyJem! and most of my other sites back up and only using 2% of my space -- maybe I'll have to start updating pages with large images. :)

So after 24 to 25 years, I'm leaving my original geocities/yahoo web home. The jemmagic.com web domain transfered over, but I'm afraid I may not have the info to renew it -- so there is a potability that I may have to create a new one in the future. But the web space is paid up for the next 4 years.

WOW it's been a while

• Mind Games Ingrid "Minx" Kruger™ and Phoebe "Rapture" Ashe™ Two-Doll Gift Set was announced on June 10th, 2022 and is the final Integrity Toys release. So now all 3 bands are complete for the 35th Anniversary Collection. There is already some drama about this being an odd choice for the final release, but it was not intended to be the "Grand Finally." (14113) Mood I'm In: The TV Show Edition with(14114) Music Medley Fashion Pack are that Grand Finally everyone is looking for, but Integrity Toys just had to announce those sets first to figure out how many orders were needing to be filled, and start prodcution after the final tally was totaled. Since there is a finite date set for the deadline of the Integrity Toys/Hasbro licensing is coming to an end, and sets had to be manufactured and shipped out before that date. (14111) Mind Games has a set edition size so it could be manufactured before the orders were placed, that is why it's in production now and will be aviable in just a few months.
  
  A final cut off date makes me think we can expect something new very soon ...

• And added all the Integrity Toys for the 35th Anniversary to Integrity Toys JEM Dolls page. Some of the images are not the greatest and I have gotten board with shotting the cardboard shippers. And I didn't make the effort to shot the bottoms and tops of all the boxes.

I finally photographed things I've been putting off for years -- I'm a little rusty and still don't have a permanent space to photograph the items in the new house. Some of the lighting of the pictures are not that great, and I only remembered how I did it in the past after I started cutting them out. At some point I'll be re-photograph everything, and then they will have good images. The husband was in the hospital in St. Louis over New Years, and that gave me some free time. I was talking to Ari about my husband's condition at Jemcon2018, and we didn't get a diagnosis until months later -- so I was looking forward to telling Ari the next time I saw him at a Jemcon. Sadly Ari left us almost a year ago, so I never got to tell him that my husband has every similar condition -- it's a precursor to leukemia, because 50% of people with it develop leukemia.

I hope everyone is well and staying safe. I'm an essential worker, so I'm still working 30 to 40 hrs a week -- sometimes with nothing to do.

• I just updated the JEM Songs page with cassette graphics and added small images of the associated fashion names.

• I finally removed Netflix from Hasbro TV on the side bar with the last update, but now I get to add tubi. They have the Jem episodes streaming for free!!! :)
• Had to add another memorial page, this time for the episode writer David Wise. He just passed away after a battle with lung cancer. :(

• Some "Radically Dangerous!" News from Toy Fair 2020 (Feb 22, 2020 – Feb 25, 2020). The big surprise was the display cards for Super7's Jem and Pizzazz Action Figures, coming later this year. The figures has not been approved yet by Hasbro.
  
  Pizzazz's card has "Radially Dangerous!" in the place of "Truly Outrageous!"

• We had some very sad news on Christmas Day, December 25, 2019, we lost the speaking voice of Pizzazz Patricia Alice Albrecht.
• But we have some Truly Outrageous! news too, Integrity Toys is making a new 35th Anniversary collection of Jem and the Holograms dolls. An email was sent out to W Club members on February 4, 2020. First look at the dolls will be in the spring, with orders filled later in the year. The dolls will be available through Integrity Toys (website?) and it sounds like through the W Club too. The W Club 2020 paid membership is open until February 28th, the membership may be the only way to get specific dolls and the way to find out before everyone else what dolls will be released.
  
  It's a little bitter-sweet, very exciting to get a new line of Integrity Toys dolls, but that means there would be no retro commemorative collection from Hasbro -- so that's sad :(

You might have noticed a few items showing over the past few months.

• I updated the Wonder Woman page, with scans from 1993 Mattel's Girls catalog -- I originally scanned those in around March of 2918, so it has been a while.
• Updated the Moondreamers page with the 1986 Moon Dreamers Licensing Kit.
• Updated the Maxie page the 1989 Maxie Licensing Kit -- it has beautiful illustrations by Judith Nelson, who illustrated the artwork used on 1986 Jem fashions packaging. It also included a very different dress for the Dance'n Romance Maxie doll -- and the 1989 Hasbro Corporate Promotion Folder shows this prototype version of Maxie along with a blonde version of Rob.
• Added a brand new page for the Hasbro Licensing Newsletter, and includes server other brochures with Jem, and a Corporate Promotions Folder with Maxie.

• The Jem licensing is back, with a new JEM Halloween Costume and JEM Make-up in Brazil. Hasbro is current trying to license their 80's Retro properties.
• I believe I have the JEM Comic Page up to day with the IDW comics

• There are eight tracks from the doll cassettes [IN STEREO], so I have labeled them on their pages. -- Flash'n Sizzle, Danse, Video, Raya, Clash, and Synergy. I have my suspicion that those songs were added later, to cover the addition of the Flash'n Sizzle cassette and the new cassettes for the new look Holograms -- Marketing may have reorganized the songs between the cassettes, if they added the four extra cassettes to the 1987 doll line. And if those songs were late addition Sunbow/Hasbro may have forget to send a mono version for the factory.

Jem e le Holograms.it added a youtube.com playset with the songs that were available [IN STEREO] :) And it will include a couple of extra surprises.

Sorry I'm not being very active, my husband had an autoimmune inner ear disorder that took his hearing in both ears and his balance nerves -- so he has been complete deaf since last April. He also developed vasculitis which cased 2 blood clots in his brain -- causing pressure and a lot of very bad headaches. He's been on blood thinners to dissolve that blood clots since December -- they haven't dissolved yet. So that has caused a lot of trips to specialist and a lot of stress. So I haven't had a lot of energy to update the website, revamp the website like I want to do, or work on the books I'm trying to create. :(

it sounds like the Funko releases of Jem and Pizzazz have been put on hold for other Funko's release -- originally rumored to be released at the end of this month.

Jem and the Holograms IDW 20/20 is set 20 years into the future -- and seems to have a January 2019 release.

• I have a brand new page just for Wedding Kimber & Male, now that the info I knew was officially announced at Jemcon2018.
• Also announced was that a 1988 Jem/Jerrica Redo was in the workings, the designer created new illustrations that were based on the Polaroids she has of her office showing this Jem and the Jerrica. The illustrations were sold at exclusively at Jemcon2018, and I will scan them in soon.
• Not that it will get a brand new pages, but the Hasbro designer also found a note saying that "Jem Lives" on her July 1987 calendar pages -- that was after all development stopped in March of 1987. "Jem Lives" was news to me :)
• I also found out I had bad information about the Model/Rendering numbers, 1st number is the year, 2nd two numbers are the month, but the following two numbers are not the day of the month as I was previously told and the two numbers before the (M or R) are not how many version of the same design were designed -- so I'll have lots of corrections to make.
• You may have read on the site or heard me say on facebook, that the dolls were made by one department and the fashions by another department -- another thing I didn't know, was that beside them them being two separate departments, they were also in two separate buildings.

Funko seems to be releasing a Jem and Pizzazz figure. A Barnes & Noble's inventory list has surfaced with a POP Animation: Jem and the Holograms - Jem and POP Animation: Jem and the Holograms - Pizzazz

Only days left of Jem's run on Netflix, as she will be pulled on August 16, 2018 :(
I'm hoping Hasbro will be coming out with their own streaming service.

And Jemcon 2018 is just a few weeks away, with the first ever Hasbro designer -- there will be a lot of cool new info about the line. I'm being purposely silent until after Jemcon. There is also an exhibit at the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame about Rock'n Roll and TV which includes Jem.

sorry for the lack of updates, lot more medical drama which has prevented from unpacked my Jem stuff. My husband is now deaf in both ears, and has a second more successful cochlear implant in the ear he just lost hearing in.

There is nothing in sight for Jem's future, but you never know what is being worked on behind the screens.

I haven't set up an area to photograph the dolls in the new house yet, so the image are still to come.

No updates on the Integrity Toys Jem doll line, but there is a new Barbie and the Rockers released -- sadly not much like the original 1968 line. Oddly many elements are more like JatH than BatR. Sadly, the dolls don't have names and half of the collection is toddlers :(

• Zipper™ is the 1st of the remaining 4 Jem products from Integrity Toys. 2 versions of 200 each, but they both sold out before the link went live for the general public -- I've taken his and Graphix pictures, but a little slow to adding them to the website.
• Ruby Red Jem is was more than a code name. Ruby Red Jem was going to be the high end doll for 1988, so replacing Glitter'n Gold. She would have had a red dress, but never appeared in the series -- I also found out that Hollywood Jem (pink dress) would have had scented plastic.

January 18, 2017 Integrity Toys announced the Jem and the Holograms line will be ending this year after the release of 4 more collectibles.

Today, it has been unofficially announced that issue #26 will be the least Jem and the Holograms comic ... but which something big being announced around March.

I haven't worked on the new pages/section, but they are still coming. Between working a lot of overtime and my husband loosing his hearing in one ear, I haven't had time to work on the site.

• After exactly 30 years, I get to add another year to the Hasbro Catalogs -- 1985 Hasbro Catalogs, Quartiles, Annuals, etc page with the 1985 Hasbro Annual Report. I have only added the text and I can't wait to share the very interesting pictures.

I loved the movie, I thought I would like it, but no I love it -- I'm 39, and felt exactly like I did as a 10 year old boy watching Jem every Sunday. Not the biggest fan of the drumming YouTube videos, but at least I've never seen that before. I like how every change to the story (our Jem) had a similar conclusion. It felt like watching some of the best Jem episode, those from Starbright to the Music Awards.

I know it did not have a good opening weekend, but we need to help get this numbers up and fight back against all the negative “Jem” fans, that will not even go see it. I refused to judge the movie based on the trailers and story changes, if I was going to have a negative opinion it was going to be base on the movie itself. But it’s a pretty excellent Jem movie. Do I wish they kept Jerrica inheriting Starlight Music? I don’t know, I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. Do I wish Synergy was a big super computer? Not really, because I don’t know how that could work today. They couldn’t house her and they couldn’t move her without being seen and/or videoed.

I recommend seeing the movie for yourself, and encourage you to encourage all your Jem friends to go – You may very well enjoy it, and they may too. If the movie is a complete flop, Hasbro may pull licensing for the collector doll line, the comic book, DVDs, Netflix, etc., they may never release the Sunbow Jem soundtrack once the (non-Hasbro) publishing issues get sorted out. We may never see another sign of Jem ever again.

I know, I do not want that.

Integrity Toys has announced Award Night Hollywood Jem™ doll for the W Club 2015 Exclusive. This is the official version of Hollywood Jem, which Hasbro sent Sunbow images of so she could be added to the cartoon. Like Starstruck Jem, ™ she has a hybrid make-up, but this time it’s a cross between Rockin’ Romance Jem™ and Jem’s pink make-up. Ironically Hasbro’s Hollywood Jem™ and Rockin’ Romance Jem™ would have shared the same make-up screen, only Hollywood Jem’s was more pastel.

• I finally acquired the Hasbro, Inc. Annual Report 1986, I haven’t had time to scan and add the beautiful images. But I have added the text from two pages that talk about Jem to the 1986 Hasbro Catalogs, Quartiles, Annuals, etc page.

• Finally added the (SDCC 2015 Exclusive) Twilight In Paris Jericca Benton/Jem™ and Lindsey Pierce™. The funny thing, funny sad, is that the last pictures I took were for Rockin' Romance Jem™ and Countess Danielle Du Voisin™ almost a year ago. -- so I added the missing picture for each. So when I went to photograph the new girls my carama battery was complete dead, so I had to charge it and wait a week until the next weekend to photograph them.

The unofficial American Beauty Jem holiday weekend -- and I needed a three day week to have free time to update the site.

• Added the official pictures of 2015 SDCC Twilight in Paris Jerrica Benton/Jem and Anthony Julian. In a press release Integrity Toys said that Craig Phillips and a SHOPBOP exclusive doll will also be coming out.
• Added more covers to the JEM Licensed Comics page -- it's very hard, for me, to keep up with the covers, preorders, delivers, etc.
• Updated the trademark pages for toys, dolls and merchandise -- there are a lot of new trademark categories for merchandise. Very exciting to see all the different Jem related items that might be a available in just a few months.

• Father's Day ... so I am adding a Memorial page for Roger Slifer, who past away March 30, 2015. A very sad lose, and he was the writer for the "Father's Day" JEM episode.

More new characters will be coming to the Integrity Toys JEM doll line, more comics and a JEM Annual coming in September, and the Jem movie trail it out. The first trailer isn’t revealing a Jem like we remember, but there are rumors that some of those missing elements are in the film.

I still have a lot of new prototype slides and Polariods to add to the site – just finding time to scan them clean them up is almost impossible. Still working on the house, we got married on 17th year anniversary of the day we met, since it’s the first year it was legal on our anniversary.

• I added the info from Circus World to the 1988 Hasbro Catalog page. Might as well add it instead of just talking about it.

Happy Rockin' Romance Jem Day! :) Hasbro had the Investor Event at New York Toy Fair 2015, on February 13, 2015. This was the first time the Jem movie trailer was shown … so we should start seeing the trailer soon. :) Jem was brought up several times in regards to AllSpark Pictures and Cash investment vs P&L … P&L for Jem will is 2015, 2016 and “2017 and Beyond.”

Um, we are really launching this year with the movie and we’re going to the build a consumer franchise from there. So we haven’t announced the gating of release that. We do believe it can be a very broad base global franchise, but we are leading it with story and we are leading it very selectively out. So it starts out at the right level of consumer from an inspirational perspective.”

• Updated the JEM Sunbow Episodes page to include the make-up change from pink (5205-01 - 5205-26), to “Flash’n Sizzle Jem” (5205-26, but really 5205-28 - 5205-40) to Lavender make-up (5205-41 - 5205-53 and 5205-54 - 5205-66). It also breaks down the “Second Season” into the 13 episodes contracts which Christy Marx references. I have the make-up changes on the appearance page, but since the episodes appeared out of production order it made it difficult to follow.

• In honor of Jem and the Holograms 30th Anniversary and the 29th Anniversary of Jem being revealed at the 1986 New York Toy Fair I have added the April 1986 edition of the Hasbro Bradley Herald on the new page JEM Hasbro Employee Literature.

Integrity Toys W Club membership is open until February 16, 2015. No upgrade Jem doll this year, but at least one Jem exclusive doll. If you like Jeff, the Color Infusion - Ollie Lawson upgrade looks very similar to Jeff.

IDW Publishing Comics Vol 1 (3/18/2015) and Vol 2 (4/8/2015) can both be pre-ordered, both Volumes have an alterative cover and a box set with 4 additional covers.
