Grey's Anatomy star and photographer Brad Everett Young was one of our own. Love him or hate him, he was the founder of “Jem’s Space” on myspace.com. He shared some great photography of Jem dolls, fashions, and prototypes. The information was not always correct, because his main source didn’t really have a connection to the Jem line. He is a devastating loss to the Jem community. |

'The Truly Outrageous Complete Series!' tvshowsondvd.com
Three featurettes:
1.) Showtime, Synergy! The Truly Outrageous Creation
of an '80s Icon
This is a featurette, well over a half hour, focusing
on the creation of the show. For this particular featurette,
we talked with Christy Marx, naturally, Roger Slifer,
Joe Bacal, Tom Griffin, Will Meugniot, Barry Harman
and Britta Phillips.
2.) Glamour & Glitter: The Voice Cast Looks Back
This featurette focuses solely on voicing the show.
Christy talks about the casting and we also spoke with
Samantha Newark, Patricia Albrecht and Michael Sheehan.
3.) Jem Girls (and Boys!) Remember
This featurette focuses on the fans of Jem and the Holograms.
Several of you are in it, along with a few web-celeb
fans like Clare Grant and Milynn Sarley from "Team
Unicorn," entertainment reporter Jenna Busch and
DVD Geeks co-host Mary Czerwinski. Some may also
know Clare as Seth Green's wife.
Animated Storyboards
Five sets of animated storyboards, including two versions
of the opening titles and three music videos.
These storyboards were generously donated by artists
Will Meugniot and Keith Tucker.
Original Commercials
There are several original commercials included here.
Video Jukebox Feature
This is a standard select your favorite music video
function. They are additional encodes and not
mere authoring tricks, simply taking you to those chapters,
so you shouldn't experience any delays as the player
is trying to find the appropriate chapters. Each
disc has this function. Note: This is the ONLY
bonus feature available outside of the complete series
set. The other bonus features are exclusive to
that 11th bonus disc.
DVD-Rom
There are a few DVD-Rom goodies available, all printable,
including the complete Writers Bible donated by Christy
Marx. The others will have to remain a secret
for those wanting to have a little something to be excited
about. |
