Looks like Carleigh had
some alternate ideas for Splashes of Sound -- but she
did not take credit for this fashion. |

Carleigh
designed this dress/tunic, pants/suit and sleeves were
designed to be worn in four different ways.
1.) dress (belt) with sleeves,
2.) pants (jumpsuit) with sleeves,
3.) tunic (dress no belt), pants, and sleeves, and dress
(belt)
4.) dress (belt) with pants
The dress was originally designed to
open to show purple underneath as the tunic version.
No tube top was part of this design. The elastic on
the top of the jumpsuit worn with belt and sash could
give the appearance of a tube top. |

Carleigh
also seemed to have designed on variations of There’s
A Medley Playing at part of the hiring process -- extended
the dress and veering the length. But Carleigh did not
design the finished version or prototype the fashion. designer credit
Carleigh's employment submission version allowed the
skirt to be raised and lowered all they way down to
the ankles. |

Carleigh
was in charge of the fashions for the new Starlight
Girl dolls, based on Christy Marx original characters.
Carleigh also designed a set of Misfits
girls because she thought it was not fair for the Holograms
to have teen girls, but the Misfits did not. She designed
them based on Jetta, because Jetta was the last Misfits
to be prototyped by her department. |

the masks, and Hasbro loved them so much, she had to create
the fashions to sell them. |

| Halloween Costumes |
Hasbro liked
Carleigh's masks so well, they were coming up with real
Halloween costumes for girls to show case them. They may
have been promoted on the Straight Girls in the series
-- they were not going to be promoted with the main charaters
and not avaliable in doll scale. |

The World Tour
fashions were dropped right away. Marketing thought the
International theme made it look like Hasbro was running
out of ideas -- similar to a TV show going to Europe or
vacation to Hawaii to boost ratings. |
